EMS Leadership Orientation

The Florida Department of Health will once again be conducting an annual EMS Leadership Orientation. This training will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton – Palm Beach Gardens on April 24^th, 25^th and 26^th.  The purpose of this program is to orientate new and current EMS leaders to relevant EMS topics and issues. This year’s leadership orientation will once again be integrated with the EMS Advisory Council. This method provides the attendee an opportunity to network with EMS leaders and see how the concepts taught are directly applied to the statewide EMS system. There will be no costs for this course and there will be 10 hours of CEU and a course completion certificate awarded for full attendance.

Please make hotel reservations at the Doubletree by Hilton – Palm Beach Gardens via telephone or online. The deadline for reservations is March 30, 2018. The group conference rate of $139 is reserved under “EMS Advisory Council – Code EMS.” You must guarantee your reservation with a major credit card. Cancellation within 72-hours of arrival will result in a penalty charge equal to one night’s lodging plus taxes. Check-in time is at 4:00 p.m.

Registration

Please contact the department as soon as possible if you have registered and are unable to attend. This will allow someone else to attend in your absence. Seating is limited to the first 40 registrants and will fill up fast. There will be a waiting list registration sent out once there are 40 registrants.
